So, this iPad Air 4 came in looking like it was destined for the bin, but screen damage usually looks worse than it is. We removed the extensively damaged screen assembly and inspected the inner workings of the ipad. Luckily there was absolutely no other damage than to the glass and LCD and a new screen would repair the issue.
As you can see by the picture shown below the device came out looking like a new device, however the picture was taken before the device was cleaned ready to return to customer.
