XBOX One S HDMI Port Replacement

FAULT DESCRIPTION:

HDMI Port fault

SYMPTOMS:

Console power on but does not connect to TV or flickers when the HDMI cable is moved. Visible damage to port.

REPAIR DESCRIPTION:

To replace the HDMI port on an XBOX, the console needs to be completely disassembled and the motherboard removed. Then the faulty HDMI port can be unsoldered from the board, the area cleaned and a new port soldered into place, once confirmed working, the device is rebuilt with new thermal paste and re-tested before being returned to cusomter.
